This summer, Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business commissioned us to produce a video campaign to complement their recruitment efforts.  We started by evaluating the recruitment videos of the top 25 MBA programs, which tended to follow a similar pattern: telling and not showing.  Many used interviews or text to tout that they were global, offered transformative educational experiences, had supportive staff, and alumni who found success, but didn’t provide much in the way of visuals.  So we set about producing a series that would visually demonstrate impact of the MBA program on students. Below is what we’ve come up with so far.

The first video is a 4 minute recruitment video, featuring three students pursuing different career aspirations:

And here’s a short story that captures the success of a young alum, and how he attributes it to the MBA program:

 

There are more short videos to come, which will be peppered within the MBA program’s website, and in presentations to prospective students. Stay tuned!
