Ben Crosbie
Co-founderA co-founder of Eidolon Films, Ben serves as producer & director of photography. Ben has travelled the globe for clients, shooting in Sierra Leone, Guinea, Liberia, Ethiopia, Mexico, Israel and all across the United States. He’s an Emmy award winning director, whose films have been nationally broadcast on PBS and internationally on ARTE. He’s a multi-year recipient of the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities Artist Fellowship, and was named “filmmaker of the month” by the DC Film Office. Ben is a graduate of Georgetown University and has recently taught documentary in its Film & Media Studies program. Ben believes in the unique power of storytelling to create empathy, and strives to achieve that in all of his work.

Tessa Moran
Co-founderA co-founder of Eidolon Films, Tessa serves as producer & co-director. Her independent films have garnered her a national News & Documentary Emmy nomination and Capitol Area Emmy win. She’s been recognized as a Bay Area Video Coalition National Media Maker Fellow, an ITVS grantee, a multi-year recipient of DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities funding, and DC Film Office “filmmaker of the month”. A graduate of Georgetown University, Tessa has a background in journalism, having covered health care policy and economics for Thomson Reuters before co-founding Eidolon Films. And she’s served as an adjunct professor teaching documentary film at Georgetown University’s summer abroad program in Italy.
